What’s in the Field?

Working collaboratively with  farms, ranches and program partners, Ag for Life is launching a province-wide public campaign this summer targeting Albertans – as we answer the question “What’s in the Field?”

This exciting initiative showcases all facets of Alberta agriculture at the right time and right place – in the fields. Giving Albertans the opportunity to learn and understand where their food comes from. As families travel throughout Alberta during the peak summer months, educational signs will be erected showcasing “what’s in the field,” from canola to corn to llamas to the breed of cattle grazing the lands. Great games of “guess that crop/breed” will now have answers.

Join us by showcasing a sign in your field highlighting your crops and/or livestock breeds.  Register below today.

The annual campaign will run from July to October with new educational components added each year to enhance the excitement as we all learn “What’s in the Field!”

Sign registration is open to Alberta producers.

Upon receipt of your registration, the Ag for Life team will work to secure the required signage permits. In order to expedite this process, please be as specific as possible with your site location(s).
